Kunserva is widely used in Malta as tomato spread on hard crust bread. It is also used for dips and to enrich sauces, stews and broths. Kunserva is produced in season from hand-picked, wholesome Maltese tomatoes. Sea salt and sugar are added to improve taste. This tin contains the juice of 20 medium-sized tomatoes.
